FOTO Bali Festival 2025 is a 23-day celebration of photography as art, memory, and social reflection, featuring 34 artists from 10 countries. Curated by Ng Swan Ti and Gatari Surya Kusuma, the festival takes place at Nuanu Creative City in Bali, offering exhibitions, workshops, and public programs under the theme LIFE. Showcasing photography, photo books, and multimedia, the festival invites audiences to explore stories of family, nature, and culture. It fosters global exposure, curatorial dialogue, and community connection for both emerging and established visual storytellers.
Workshops
FOTO Bali Festival 2025 presents a curated series of workshops that explore photography as a tool for storytelling, reflection, and personal voice. Go beyond aesthetics and technical skills with sessions like Unfolding the Drawer: A Journey into Visual Literacy with Edy Purnomo, From Headlines to Heartlines: Storytelling with Beawiharta, Portable Lab, Timeless Practice with Jordy Wahyudiningrat and Film Photography Club, and Developing Visual Narratives with Veejay Villafranca. Each session offers a unique approach—ranging from analog processes and darkroom work to narrative development and visual literacy. Open to photographers of all levels, these workshops provide space to sharpen your craft, deepen your perspective, and connect with a global creative community in Bali.
